Gingerbread Latte


- 1/2 cup of strong coffee (we suggest light roasted Brazil or Cameroon)
- 1 tbsp. molasses
- 1 tbsp. maple syrup
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- whipped cream
Mix molasses, maple syrup, brown sugar, ground ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla extract and 1/4 cup milk in a microwave safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds (or until all the spices dissolve when stirred).
Pour coffee into a large mug and then add the spice mix and stir.
Steam remaining milk with frother, stove or microwave before adding it to the mug.
Top with whip cream and light sprinkle of cinnamon or chocolate (we added a gingersnap for that extra touch).
